About the event
The UNB REDS are hosting a workshop for Triathlon, Masters, and mature athletes. The goal of this camp is to improve technique and will be coached by varsity level athletes. Swimmers will have an opportunity to work on their kick, drill, race strategy, and more.
The first half hour, from 7:30-8:00am will be a basic warm up, followed by freestyle drill and technique work from 8:00-8:30am. Then, there will be an opportunity to break into 3 groups based on the stroke you would like to work on, butterfly, backstroke, or breaststroke - for the half hour from 8:30-9:00am. This portion will be coached by swimmers who specialize in the particular stroke. The final half hour from 9:00-9:30am will include practicing turns and dives.
We will have a number of varsity athletes coaching, each with their own expertise and experience. If you swim Masters, would like to improve your technique for triathlons, are a recreational swimmer looking to improve, or a former competitive swimmer, this workshop is for you!
